People ask about the ethics of love work more than almost anything else. Is it wrong to cast for someone? Does it take away their choice? What does “binding” really mean? These are fair questions, and anyone who brushes them aside should not be trusted with your heart or your money.

The short answer
Love work, as Baba Ali practices it, works on the connection between two people. It softens what has hardened, clears what stands in the way and draws a partner’s heart back toward you. It is never used to harm, punish, trap or control anyone. And it is never offered in situations where someone has clearly chosen to be left alone.
What about free will?
This is the big one. Some casters online promise to take away a person’s choice entirely. Baba Ali never makes that claim, for two reasons.
First, it is not honest. Nobody can promise what another person will decide or feel. What love work can do is open a door: bring back warmth, remind someone of what they felt, and remove the pride, noise and interference that keep two people apart. Whether they walk through that door is still their choice.

Cases that are always declined
Some situations are never right for love work, whatever the client offers to pay.
- Minors. No work involving anyone under 18, as client or target.
- People who have asked the client to stay away. A clear “leave me alone” is an answer, not an obstacle.
- Protective orders. If a court has ordered distance, no spiritual work will be done to close it.
