2. What we collect
Privacy policy: when you request a consultation
Your first name, email, optional WhatsApp number, date of birth (to confirm you are 18+ and for your reading), preferred contact method and time, your time zone, the other person’s first name if you choose to give it, a description of your situation, and the time you gave consent.
When you use the Love Situation Finder
Your five answers, your email address, your confirmation that you are 18 or older, and whether you asked for guidance emails.
When you leave a review
The name you choose to show (first name and last initial), city, rating, the service you had, your case reference if you give it, and your review.
Automatically
Essential cookies that keep the site working and remember your choices. With your consent only, analytics cookies that show which pages help people. We use a hashed, non-reversible form of your IP address briefly to stop spam and abuse.
3. Why we use it
To answer your request and perform the service you ask for, to send you your case updates, to keep the site secure, and, if you agree, to understand how the site is used. Details about your beliefs and relationships can be sensitive, so we process them only with your explicit consent, which you give on the request form and can withdraw at any time.
4. Privacy policy: how we protect it
We encrypt consultation details before we write them to our database, with a key kept outside the database. Only Baba Ali can open a request, and the system logs every opening. The site runs over HTTPS. Staff never email your details in plain text: alerts contain only a reference number.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data, and we never use your relationship details for advertising. We use a small number of service providers to run the site: our web host (Bluehost), security and site-statistics services, the email service that delivers your messages, and, only if you consent, Google Analytics. If you message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp’s own privacy terms apply to that chat. The payment provider named at checkout handles payments, and we never see or store your full card details.
6. How long we keep it
We delete consultation requests and Finder results automatically 12 months after they arrive, or sooner if you ask. We keep access logs for 24 months for security. Published reviews stay up until you ask us to remove them.
7. Privacy policy: your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask to see, download, correct or delete your data, and you can withdraw consent. If you live in California, you also have the rights given by the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know and delete and the right to opt out of selling or sharing, which we do not do. If you live in the EU or UK, you have the rights given by the GDPR and UK GDPR, including portability and the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Use the Privacy Center to make a request. We confirm it by email first, so only you can ask for your data, and we answer within 30 days. You can also delete your consultation instantly from your private case tracker.
8. Cookies and Global Privacy Control
You choose which optional cookies to allow when you first visit, and you can change your mind any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Rejecting is one click, the same as accepting. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out, and marketing cookies stay off.
9. Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and we delete it if we learn we have.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your data, we update this page and the date below. Significant changes are shown on the site before they take effect.
